Magnolia Pines Consulting was created from a simple idea: HR professionals and small businesses shouldn’t have to start from scratch every time they want to build a better people program.
I’m Kelly Duplantis, an HR professional with more than 15 years of experience supporting employees, coaching managers, and building programs designed to improve the employee experience.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked across areas like onboarding, internships, manager development, compliance, employee relations, training, and workforce programs. Some of the work I’ve enjoyed most has been taking an idea or a problem and turning it into something practical — a process, guide, toolkit, program, or resource that people can actually use.
That’s what inspired Magnolia Pines.
Instead of offering one-size-fits-all HR advice, I create practical HR tools and program frameworks that give organizations a strong place to start. Some resources are ready to use on your own, while others can be customized to better reflect your company, employees, and culture.

My Approach
The resources at Magnolia Pines aren’t based only on theory.
They’re shaped by years of working directly with managers and employees, building programs from the ground up, and learning what works — and what doesn’t — when an HR idea meets the real workplace.
I’ve developed internship programs, redesigned onboarding experiences, coached leaders through difficult employee situations, created training and communication resources, and helped turn complicated HR processes into something much easier to understand and use.
That practical experience is at the heart of every Magnolia Pines resource.
I believe good HR should support both the organization and the people inside it.
That means programs should be structured without feeling robotic, professional without being unnecessarily complicated, and useful for the people who actually have to carry them out.
My goal is to create resources that help you spend less time staring at a blank page and more time building something meaningful for your employees and organization.
